Quick fix troubleshooting guide

If you are experiencing issues in OASIS, it is possible that some temporary data stored by your browser is interfering with its ability to properly handle some OASIS functions. To improve your experience and help facilitate our work to identify and solve any issues that may be creating this situation, we advise the following:

  1. Clear your browser's Cache, or "Temporary Internet Files". See below for instructions on clearing your browser's cache.
  2. Clear your browser's Cookies. Cookies maintain information about your login and session with internet sites, and can be corrupted in ways that impact your experience. See below for instructions on clearing your browser's cookies.
  3. If there is a persistent problem with oasis.proquest.com that is not resolved, even temporarily, by steps 1 and 2, contact coutts-oasisfeedback@proquest.com and provide details including the following points to help us investigate and solve the issue.
  • Your OASIS login name
  • Your attempted action(s), the expected result, and the actual result
  • Time of day and time zone
